Jonathan Tsou is a Managing Director with Cargill Ventures, based in Shanghai, China. He focuses on investments in both information technology and emerging technologies with significant presence in Greater China.

Jonathan has broad global operational and strategy experience in various industries and countries. Prior to joining Cargill Ventures, he worked in Cargill’s Strategy and Business Development Group where he managed market entry and turn-around strategies, joint venture initiatives and M&A transactions in the agricultural, food, chemical and steel industries. Prior to Cargill, he was an engineer with Schlumberger in the petroleum industry based in Japan and Indonesia. He also worked in technical marketing and market development roles with Bourns and General Instruments in the electronics industry.

Jonathan serves as an observer on the board of China Data Group.

Jonathan holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in Taiwan, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
