We maintain offices in Minneapolis, at our Cargill headquarters, and in San Mateo, in the heart of Silicon Valley. Our network, however, stretches globally, as we leverage our internal technology, research and business resources across Cargill.

Our team actively engages internal resources and external experts to validate business concepts, opportunities and technologies. Through this process we also identify concrete opportunities for Cargill to add value to a prospective portfolio company.

Cargill Ventures will take a leadership role in an investment round and has the ability to pull together relevant investment partners. We add the most value to our portfolio companies when we are active participants, which typically means that we will take a seat on the board of directors.

We co-invest with leading national venture capital firms, in addition to corporate venture capital groups.
