Cargill Ventures invests in technology and service companies that focus on novel renewable and carbon-neutral sources of energy.  We look for companies that provide alternatives to the petroleum-based energy through breakthrough technologies that transform biomass into bio-fuels or tap other renewable energy sources, including wind and solar.  We look for companies with experienced teams, proprietary technology and a deep understanding of how to commercialize technology in the context of existing system structure and costs.
